Open Recruiting Policy (Active) |
It is of my opinion that larger Outfits are easier to keep together, So I believe that the Outfit should enter open recruiting, Where all potential recruits are immediately accepted, but can also be immediately removed for in-activity. The result of this is a semi-large highly active outfit. Now this also means an Influx of Newbs, Just remember they don’t stay newbs forever and if they do we can still remove them. Activity and Numbers are KEY for sustaining an Outfit. For now we will enter an Open recruiting policy until we obtain about 60 Active members.
Please note This Policy can be Retired by the council when it is operational.
Closed Recruiting Policy (InActive) |
In order to be recruited a possible recruit must obtain a “Sponsor”,
The Sponsor should be a member of Reputable Status. Members may seek out recruits,
and recruits may seek out potential sponsors.
Upon achieving a sponsor the recruit enters a “Testing Period” this
lasts for around 3-4 Days, and one of these at random will be considered a
tryout, the recruit will not know when s/he is being given his tryout, as s/he
should not be told when it is. If s/he discovers when the tryout is s/he becomes
disqualified and may enter the testing period again in 3 days. During this
Testing period the recruit will accompany our Outfit Squads, to we can observe
how the recruit contributes and interacts with the Outfit.
After the Tryout an Immediate Council Meeting is held this meeting is called “The
Judgment”, The Sponsor will present the recruit to the Council thru an
Introduction. Next the potential recruit will give testimony to his abilities
and why he will be a valuable asset to the Outfit. Then 3 members will be chosen
to Testify for or against the new recruit. The Council Will Then vote. If accepted
the recruit enters the Observation period. If Denied the potential recruit
is allowed to speak one more time to try to convince the Council followed by
a revote. If Still Denied, the Sponsor may drop the potential recruit, or re-admit
him through the process.
After being “Judged” the new recruit enters an Observation period
of around 7 days before being officially accepted as a new member. Any Inappropriate
behavior done during this period is the responsibility and fault of the Sponsor
for choosing a poor recruit. Should this behavior occur the recruit will be
expelled from the outfit and the Sponsor will have his sponsor abilities revoked
for one week. A New Member may begin sponsoring around 3 days after his observation
period ends.
Incentives to Recruit |
Successfully recruiting 9-10 members grants Shadow Lord status (Squad leader),
those recruits are then assigned to you as a squad. You may have 12 members
in your squad (10 regulars 2 reserves). Squads are exercised at Outfit Gatherings.
In Addition you are building a support Infrastructure of loyalties to assist
you in being elected a Council Member.
