First of All we made 95 members today, most impressive... Unfortunately I haven't kept the roster up to date, so I'm going to have a real "Fun" time putting everybody's name on it.

Some REALLY good news, Vanu Sovereignty Network is offering free forum hosting so PLEASE drop a reply to confirm that the Outfit is real.

Another Thing, BloodShark sent me an email with an interesting proposal, so we may use the VSN forums as a temporary forum, as they aren't the best I've seen.

A Couple of Things

Today TSS Reached 55+ Members, Sorry If your name isn't on our Roster yet, we have been expanding so fast I can't keep the Roster updated.

Discussion has come up about Divisions, Yes The Council and I are well aware of this issue. As well as we have always had plans to organize into divisions and there are 2 Reasons we haven't started forming divisions yet.
1) Most of the outfit members are fairly new to Planetside and are still "Feeling Out" what role they want to play in the game. No point in making a squad of Reavers if half of them decide that Reavers just aren't for them.
2) There is a lot of work to do with this outfit and the Growing Pains are really stabbing at us like a fork in the eye. Fact is this is a little low on the Priory List.... I guarantee it’s on there though.

Last Night we had 3 squads going primarily formed of TSS members, Last time we had 2 and there wasn't a problem. Unfortunately now there is a problem with communications, seeing as we couldn't figure out where our squads were half the time or where they were going.
As a result we are adopting an Out of Game Vchat program for communications between squad leaders.

This Also Opens a New Staff Position as a Host for the VoiceChat Server, if you want to contribute to the outfit without a bunch of effort putting up a Dedicated TeamSpeak server is the way to go. Remember this IS a staff position so you will be granted Syndicate of Shadow Rank (3rd Highest).

Two Major News Points Today

Today the Outfit went live, I managed to gather 10 people willing to help me reform the Outfit, by a twist of fate I came across Daemien (A Beta Member) while building a squad in the Sanctuary, I was quite surprised to see him seeing as there was no way for him to know we launching on Konreid… Anyways he and several others helped us form the Outfit. Shortly after I managed to get in contact with Bamelin, who I didn’t expect to see until Sunday at the earliest, Bamelin and I there after went into mass recruiting and have managed to get the outfit up to 32 members in less than 24hours. This makes us the 4th largest Vanu Outfit on Konreid, and growing fast.

The Other Event of Significance was what I’ve decided to classify as our First Outfit Event. Last night from about 8pm-3am Bamelin And Anabus lead two primarily Outfit squads on “Joint Strikes” It was Very Successful and Fulfilling Session We must have capped at least 10 bases consecutively… And while it may be one of those times where “I guess you would have had to been there.” It was truly incredible, and I look forward to more sleepless nights where it’s “Just too good to Quit”

Do to the Beta wipe today, I want everybody togather on Markov for now, Then we will decide what server we will choose as our final destination (My vote is East Coast)
But We may go central as a compramise, in case we are split up around the country.

Karsarn returns, I've posted new links check out the Contract for Rules, the Recruit info for the recruiting process and Check out the profile of myself I posted, use it as an Example for making your own. I'm not finished with it, I'll Add squad data, contact data, and an Player Photo to it. As for the first outit practice more people showed up than we could fit in a squad. I’m speeding up Outfit Plans. I kicking into Overdrive on the website so expect drastic changes.

Yet I’m going to need your help, I want to start a profiles page to keep track of new recruits brought in by players, and allow members to give a brief description of themselves and their Goal Character. I will post an Example in the next few days (my own profile.)

Also I’m pushing to Elect Council members NOW, instead of next week. Original Nominations for Council were… (Council Member is the Highest Attainable Rank)

2) Karsarn
3) SethVega
Council Members will have more responsibilities to the Outfit and are required to Attend Mandatory Council Meetings, which will probably be held on Sundays 6:30-7pm Est. Responsibilities of the Council Involve everything from domestic issues to Approving new recruits and policies. They form the Outfits Leadership and Government.

I wanted to get people who think different and this is the main reason Karasrn and SethVega was such key players. If Karsarn and SethVega wish to return they may take these positions. It also says that two positions for Council have opened which means our first Nominations. Since there is no polling system setup on the website and I have no idea how to set one up, Send me an Email.

Here are the rules for Nominations
1) You may NOT nominate yourself.
2) You may only Vote/Nominate ONCE.
3) To be considered a candidate you must receive 5 Nominations at this time.
4) Any Nominations after 5 are considered Votes for that Candidate.

Last but not least I want to start Outfit Gatherings or practice. I’m not 100% sure what days these events will occur but current plans are Wed and Sat 7-9pm Eastern Time. These will be mandatory and it will be possible to be removed from the Outfit by consistently missing them. I do not expect a large Turnout the first two times as it will be hard to get the word around to players at this point.
Please note that we will try to play everyday our prime time will be considered after 7 Pm EST.

I’m also now looking for a Staff for the website in case you didn’t know. I need a new Graphics Editor, The current one (Snife) is not fast enough to turn out what I need for the website. I’ll post a full Staff List soon. All Staff members are granted Rank, and are allowed to have 2 Assistants. In addition the Collective Staff has 1 Seat on the Council (IE one Staff member will always be a council member)

Bad news today, SethVega and Karsarn have left the Outfit, this is significant because while SethVega is not encouraging his transfers to TSS to return to the Wraithlords I do believe around 50% will. Both members I was planning to nominate for Council along with Floorsmat. I do believe that with a fuller understanding of the Outfit I can get them to return, But in the mean time I discourage (But will not Stop) TSS members from Playing with the Wraithlords for the Sole purpose of its ability to create mixed loyalties within the two outfits and Tear them both apart. So what does this tell me? It tells me the plan I originally created is too slow, so I’m speeding up Outfit Plans. I kicking into Overdrive on the website so expect drastic changes.

In case you haven't noticed the members page lately its Exploded, the reason for this? I created the outfit in open beta and have been recruiting the most professional players I've come across. In Addition SethVegas's Outfit the Wraith Lords, has decided to join us Bringing in an Additional 10 players making SethVega the First to achieve Squad Leader Status.
If your one of the Beta members SethVega is a familiar name as he often hung out with the Outfit, he and his outfit are some of the best players I've come across and they will make a great addition to the Outfit

Okay, Heres the Deal Spring Break.... We'll you should understand... But you can't blame me, I haven't heard from anybody else either.But after sping break planetsides delay to May was a convient for telling myself I'll do it for, and as you guessed I'm horrible when it comes to procrastinating. So If you need me to do something this is an invite to harass me, Send your complaints to my Email KnightOfShadow@ilnk.com And After that Get this the computer I bought is so Unstable (Crashes every 45-60 Minites) That I have to send it back and get it replaced since nobody knows whats wrong with it. So I've been busy with that. So thats what I spent the last week doing.

IN OTHER NEWS

DragonMage made a nice little flash Intro Which I've been trying to put on the site but for some reason I just can't seem to get it to work. Snife was making a Better Banner, But his sister aparently has a tendency to get on his computer and go on rampages deleting stuff, our banner was something she deleted... Maybe we'll send her some hate mail... I'm about 2/3 Thru with the outfit information section of the website and from there will move to setting up some forums, followed by a general game information section, Then a Graphical Interface, And then go to setup our web mail. When I'm done with that I'll start learning Flash.
