Leader of an Independent Vanu Sect, believed to have a hidden agenda to overthrow the current leaders of the Vanu Sovereignty. To be viewed as highly dangerous rebel faction within the Sovereignty, highly aggressive and unsurpassed in both his abilities on the field and as a commander. An Immediate Termination order was signed 3 cycles ago and will take immediate effect following the wars end, this is due to his great value as a key element of the Sovereignties Armada. Capable of turning the tide of a major battle, and taking key facilities before enemy units can respond he has become know as the Knight of Shadows do to his principals, tactics and abilities. Often referred to as KoS by both the Sovereignty and Enemy Empires it holds a double meaning, Knight Of Shadows, and Kill On Sight.

Rumors are all that surround this Member of the Sovereignty. The Official truth is that he was the Lead Military Scientist on Vanu NanoTec research for the Terran Republic before the split and civil war. The Research specifically focused on using nano-technology to enhance humans through technology rather than genetic engineering (which was outlawed due to the extreme risk, and inhumane to risk a child life, and genetic restructuring often killed the test subject) It is believed that Anabus used the results from the research in a prototype NanoTec Enhancement on himself, completely bypassing simulated and VR testing do to the outlawing of Vanu Research by the Terran Republic. Official Terran files report that Anabus Killed all of his research team and destroyed the research, believing he had gone mad. After the formation of the Vanu Sovereignty Anabus showed up and his abilities were far superior than anything the Sovereignty had come in contact with. The Sovereignty has come to the Belief that Anabus did not go mad, but had Transcended previous human limitations, and has not in fact destroyed the research but stolen and perfected. Rumor has it that the members of his outfit go though a similar NanoTec Enhancement process, although he was never able to completely duplicate the prototype it appears he has come close enough.
